Proud students asked me to take pictures of their indoor recess creations and activities.
Students are becoming great listeners as well as presenters as they share their writing, "A Place I Like to Go".
A little rain doesn't stop the fun. Lots to do for indoor recess.
Today was the 2nd day of training to get our Building Licenses with our LearnToLearn Lego kits. The students sorted and categorized the bricks in multiple ways before having free time to re-build Learnie or build their own creations. What a great way to end a fun filled week!
All this week we have been sharing our Baby Memories, some object or a story from birth to kindergarten. It was so much fun to hear the student's stories about "when they were little!"
Today we went to Lewsi Ginter Botanical Gardens in Richmond. We collected parts of plants in our take home bags and planted lettuce in the Children's Garden as part of our guided program, "Plants What Good Are They?" Then after lunch we saw the "Butterflies Alive" exhibit and toured the rest of the gardens. The Lego Exhibit was the highlight for many of the kids!
Our 5th Grade STEM Buddies from Mrs. Agee's Class came to help us get started with ST Math today. Everyone passed the password learning proceedure! Watch your child log in at home to see what a feat this is!
